Word of the Year

We will work with creative writing, movement, visual art, music and community art to discover a word that is personally meaningful. This word will help guide our choices throughout the year, remind us of what we really want from life and empower us to live in a way that supports us to be our authentic selves and make positive changes.

Reflections of 2019

This rejuvenating evening of art making and reflection is an invitation to leave the chaos of the outside world behind for a while. Give yourself permission to sink into the moment, create and be curious about how you have grown in 2019. Through expressive arts we will explore the experiences, emotions and actions that inspire us as we move into a new year and those that we're ready to let go of.  Focus will be on trusting our own inner knowing, supporting all parts of self and building resources.

Imaginative Holiday Art Making

Christmas Lights on Trees

In this class, children 3 and up will be invited to experiment with movement, drama and storytelling along with visual art making to music. Materials and instructions to create an ornament  or painting (or both) will be provided, children will be encouraged to use their imaginations to create items that tell a story or have special meaning to them.

"Art is not just ornamental, an enhancement of life. It is a path in itself, a way out of the predictable and conventional…a map to self-discovery."
